An "experience of a lifetime" should indeed last your entire lifetime.
Where are you never leaving, Italy or Europe in general? I know you don't have a huge budget and I'm sure you've gotten plenty of requests for souvenirs, but a cycling and/or football (soccer) jersey from Italy and/or France would be awesome. Let me know how much it is and I can pay you back of course!

I came to London for 2 days in march of 2005 and I ended up moving back 5 months later. Now, i am on my fourth year here. Europe has this spell it puts people under! lol
